A & E Factory Service A & E Factory Service / Appliance Repair I bought a brand new Whirlpool front loading washer on 4/1/07. On 7/28/07 I realized that when I tried to wash my clothes on any Normal cycle other than "Quick Wash" the machine would stop once it filled with water, the "start" button would blink. I would then press the blinking start button and nothing would happen. I would have to manually put the machine on "Spin" in order to get the water to drain. I called Whirlpool and they told me I would have to have a preferred provider repair it. They gave me the number for A & E Factory Service. They scheduled my service for FRIDAY, between 8-11am. The tech from A&E Factory Service arrived at 10:50am turned on the machine for a few minutes and told me nothing was wrong and that he could not stay to watch the whole cycle. He did not open up the machine at all. I then started the washer to do laundry after he left and of course it stopped and the "Start" light started blinking. I called the company back and stated that the tech had stated that nothing was wrong but now it's still not working. The telephone operator stated that they would try to get the same tech to come back. After about an hour I still had no word. I called back and the operator told me that the tech had gone home early and so they could not get him or anyone else to come back the same day. I had taken the day off of work for this? I then called Whirlpool and they stated that the tech had written in his notes that he had spent one and half hours at my house and had opened the unit and tightened loose wires. The tech did not even stay fifteen minutes and certainly did not open the machine and tighten loose wires. Can you say fraud! _________________________________________________________________ Now you can see trouble…before he arrives http://newlivehotmail.com/?ocid=TXT_TAGHM_migration_HM_viral_protection_0507 From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Saturday, 18-Aug-07 15:28:57 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
