Carpet Install

Business Reply

This consumer purchased carpet and was installed in July of 2007. The carpet was replaced under the manufacturer warranty in August of 2007 for dye lott variation. People are so quick to Judge and accuse of wrong doing or being taken advantage of which is not the case here. Unfortunately she has forgotten to update her compliant once the replacement was completed. A company that has been in business for 25 years, our goal is to give all our clients customer satisfaction.

Carpet Wagon, Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Buyer be aware...what you see is NOT what you get! Resolution?

The sample carpet presented to me by Carpet Wagon is NOT what was installed

in my home. Incomplete install as there was not enough carpet to complete

the job!

I immediately went to Carpet Wagon with a piece of the installed carpet in

hand. My sales person agreed it was not the same color as the sample. Her

words were "I see a "pink" hue in the carpet. The carpet I selected was in

the green family. She told me she agreed the carpet was not right, not to

worry she would have the carpet removed. That evening she came to my house,

remeasured and brought with her new carpet samples for my husband and me. We

chose a considerably cheaper-priced carpet, however sales person is telling me

the carpet price is "the same." There is a significant $ difference.

Post install, my sales person has changed per position and now claims she

did not see any color variance, that she sees nothing wrong with the carpet!

Carpet Wagon's position now is "since only I believe there is a dramatic

difference in hues."

My advise, document everything in writing: promises, concessions, price,

etc. Have a sample sent to your home, your assured that your sample is your

sample and its not going anywhere.

My home remains disorganized and it is now 12-days post install. What is

considered reasonable length of time for corrective measures?
