Never, ever buy one of these washing machines. I have this $ 700.00 appliance for a little over two years and spent more time at the laundromat during these 2 years than I ever have in my whole life (45 years). The first time it broke it nearly blew up because the wiring was done all wrong and the electrical board "melted" away, now it's something else and nobody seems to be able to figure out what's wrong with it. Of course it's our technician's fault because he gives "wrong" information to some kind of technical support systems that may or may not be connected to Whirlpool. They are telling me that they went above and beyond their obligations to help me with my problem, (by sending me a $ 50.00 check to help out with my "laundromat expenses" and extending my "repair support" or whatever it's called by 30 days) well that doesn't really help me if three weeks from now I'm still going to sit here without a washing machine. I'm dying in laundry, even went out to buy my kids new underwear, because I really didn't have enough to last 3 weeks, hoping that the problems we have with this machine would be solved within a day or two. Whishful thinking!

I'm going to complain about this machine to everybody I can think of to make sure nobody would even consider buying this appliance and, apparently I'm not the only one having problems with a Whirlpool appliance, at least that somehow eases my mind and now I know that I'm not just some kind of dingdong who doesn't know how to work a washing machine!

Sincerely

Katrin Carty
