Denatl Bliss is NOT!

Denatl Bliss is NOT! Due to past "state of the art" dentistry, I am reaping from poor dentistry practices. Years ago they filled all my molars when I was a child because the practice of filling a brand new tooth with silver meant "no Cavities" in the future. Afterall, there was no more tooth to decay!. Now 30+ years later I have cracked and diseased teeth. Silver doesn't expand or contract but natural teeth do. Nothing but problems and corrective surgeries are my future.
I researched for the BEST dental sedation office in Middle Tennessee. The internet, advertisements and personal referrals all said to go to Dr. Garner,DDS at Dental Bliss in Franklin Tennessee.
With much trepidation I went, he said I needed 4 crowns, 1 cavity filled and gum disease remedial work performed. After my insurance I paid UP FRONT $6900.00. My hope was that sedation dentistry which he said was painless dentistry would be the answer to my prayers.
I followed all the prescription directions, only to arrive for the 8a.m. appointment, not properly sedated. The medicine they gave me had little to no effect on me. They waited, I dosed, not due to the medicine but more likely to the sleepless night prior to my procedure. They began and I started to complain, I could feel - EVERYTHING! No matter how much I complained he proceeded. My mouth full of an apparatus to keep it wide open, I screamed, - I CAN FEEL EVERYTHING! He then proceeded to pummel my mouth for all 4 quadrants with novacane shots. And I still could feel the procedure and the severe pain. I believe I passed out twice due to the extreme pain. But awoke again to tell them I could feel and the pain was unbearable. Dr. Garner left near the end of my total procedures, and left an assistant to finish. She was very sympathetic and told me it would be all right, that she knew I was in pain and apologized profusely for the Dr. treatment.
For 2 1/2 weeks that I had my temporary crowns I was in severe pain 24 hours a day! I could not take enough pain meds or sleeping pills to get rest. I lost 7 pounds! I could not chew!
I was in contact with the dentist office and the DR. 3 times those 2 & 1/2 weeks, but they told me I could not come in until my crowns were ready! The Dr. apologized for my pain in the procedure, he told me that I was one in a million that didn't work with sedation dentistry!
I went for my 4 crown fittings - without novacane because I didn't want to have to come back- I wanted a proper jaw alignment & tooth fitting. So I endured his rough and brutal fitting. I left his office with a poor fitting and in such severe pain, I could not talk for the remainder of the day!
I am now writing this 4 weeks after my crowns and I am in pain everyday. Only if I use my teeth. So if I don't eat, or talk or push my tongue against my molars, I don't experience any pain. All other times I am in pain.
I am writing this complaint for 2 reasons: If you are weary of dentists, and believe in "painless" dentistry - DON'T! There is no such thing as painless dentistry!!!!! Secondly, my personal experience has been anything but blissful from Dr. Garner at Dental Bliss.
