We purchased an APEX DIGITAL GB43HD10 from SEARS about 2 and 1/2 years ago. Unfortunately at that time we did not purchase an extended warranty. After having the Television for about 1 and 1/2 years the Television went out. We contacted Sears and they gave the name of an Authorized Service Center. We took the Television to the Service Center in October 29, 2005. They made numerous calls to order a Conversion Board. We were willing to pay to have this replaced. Apex told them repeatedly that the board would be shipped. Apex has never sent the board.

During this time I made numerous calls, spent hours on the phone trying to find out why there was a problem. The Service Dealer finally called me and told me that they could not get the board shipped from Apex because it is obsolete. That we need to pick up the Television, they have had it for over a year and they need the room in storage for Televisions that they are working on and can get parts for. I immediately called APEX and the manger of Tech Support "Joe Parker" told me that the part was obsolete and they no longer produce that part. I asked him why was the part not shipped a year ago? Was it obsolete a year ago? When I took my APEX Television into the Service Center. For this he has no answer. So we are now stuck with a practically new Television and APEX cannot provide any help. My advice for anyone thinking of purchasing any APEX product, their tech support and parts department provide terrible service. MY RECOMMENTATION, DO NOT BUY APEX PRODUCTS. I'm open for any ideas on how to get my Television fixed. Anne Alexander
