ACE HARDWARE REBATE RIP OFF

I purchased 1 bag each, 5000 sq ft. coverage of crabgrass preventer, winterizer, insect control and fertilizer. I checked with an employee and he confirmed what I was buying would get me the advertised rebate. Soon as I got home I clipped the upc off each bag and mailed in that day. I got a lousy $3.00 rebate. They claimed the crabgrass one "exceeded the limit" whatever that means, the winterizer upc was missing, and the lawn insect upc was INVALID.

Looks like the old classic BAIT AND SWITCH. Bye Bye ACE we are through!

I got ripped-off too! I sent in the required info for the June rebate of Sectracide weed & grass 40oz con. and got the same B.S. of "invalid exceeds limit"
