SST Inc I would like to file a formal complaint and let other unsuspecting card holders know that this company does NOT want to work with their customers. We simply closed both my and my husbands' accounts. We, like so many other individuals tried to make payment on our Washington Mutual credit card only to find no web payment ability, no phone number (for phone payment) and to mail would have made the payment late. We tried to do the above about 4 days before payment was due because we were paying on-line and that was an acceptable amount of time. I finally realized I needed to activate the new card. Once we did this we were able to actually "SPEAK" to a person and not punch in buttons........This person however would not waive the late fee (by now our payment was ONE day overdue) I asked to speak to the manager/supervisor who was even less yielding. She stated that the company sent letters March 20th and I had ample time to adjust (my payment due April 4th). I explained that we didn't even receive this till approx March 27- cutoff time to contact Wash. Mutual). I stated it sounded sketchy and why we didn't activate the new card. As a result of her unwillingness to waive the late fee I stated that we would close both of our accounts. I would love to file a class action or other formal complaint. Perhaps we should call consumer reporting agencies or CNN or other high profile network/agency to get some type of resolution. Thank You Melissa K

I have a automobile loan with SST that was sold to them from another company. The transfer was made without my knowledge. I received received several phone calls on my job from SST asking me to verify my information. I thought all pertinent information would be included with the transfer paperwork which would negate the necessity of calling the consumer? I've got records and formal complaint filed with the BBB of Saint Joseph, MO.
