Dish Network
|
Dish Network We have had Dish Network here at this motel now for 9 months. In that time, it has barely worked. It was installed by a local rep., for dish network, who informed us if ever there was a problem we had to contact him directly. Each time he came out to fix what never worked right, he charged us $100.00 and up. And we still haven't got it working right. We now have 2 channels totally out and have been out now for 2.5 minths. Call after call is completely ignored by this so called rep., and frankly as if it is not bad enough, there are only 19 channels to begin with. Every time Dish is called, the buck gets passed and ignored, so frankly, if anyone cares to read this, burn every flyer you get from this Company. If a private person gets the service at their home, it is supposed to be with no length of term contract, but the local companies that install it will charge you over $500.00 if you cancel in under a yr., or m iss a payment. Things do happen, and emergencies come up, but too bad, you have to keep your TV running or get sued for the early disconnect. Also, they tack on legal fees. A better deal, I think not. At least local cable gives businesses the same programming no matter what. And they don't gouge you if you need service. And they call cable a PIG!!! Who can't get away from the wallet table DISH? People will smarten up, and hopefully you get sued for lousy service, and failure to keep your end of the bargain. Oh and also, if you had Dish at one time, even if you paid all your bills, once you leave dish, you cannot get service from them again without buying all your equipment up front and paying for the install. At least cable is forgiving and lets you come back to them, and they don't require you use a credit card to do business with them. Where is UNCLE SAM when he is supposed to be watching the little people and helping the downtrodden. If any Government official reads this, look into this supposed company, and regulate their business dealings.PLEASE.
