Circuit City - zero percent interest

Circuit City advertised zero percent interest for purchases for 18 months. I got the credit card, have been paying it off. mine was supposed to end "Sept of 07. I just got a letter indicating the terms of my account were changing to 24.24% if I did not respond by April 30. if I did respond that I didn't want my interest changed, then they were closing my account. which they did immediately when I called the number provided which doesn't allow you to talk to a real person. you get two options. hang up and that accepts the terms. or hit "1" and it closes your account.
