Get this one. Cox makes you use their automated voice recognition virtual customer rep. when you pay your bill by phone. If you want to talk to a real person, it costs five dollars extra. Well the robot on the other end of the line won't "recognize" my request, so every time I want to pay my bill it becomes an extremely huge hassle to get Cox to understand that their system does not work for me. And that I don't feel that I should have to pay five dollars extra just to be able to pay my bill by talking to a real person who can understand everything I say the first time I say it without having to yell the same phrase into the phone nine times only to hear some machine respond with, " I'm sorry, but....." etc. etc. When I finally got a real human being type Cox rep.. She told me that I must be doing something wrong, nobody else had this problem, and I would have to pay the five dollars.

How ironic that the Cox slogan is: Your Friend in the Digital Age.

Yeah, right.
