Room Rental

On Thursday April 19, my wife and I checked in at this inn for two nights after rejecting two other motels which had no HBO, but who only charged $39.00 and $49.00 a night. On our arrival we were told by the front desk that they had HBO and were charged $53.99 and $61.20 for the two nights. We were given the HBO channel number.

We then went for supper and upon our return we were going to watch a movie, to our surprise the channel given to us did not work. I called the front desk and was told that the channel had not been working for some time and the clerk had told the manager weeks ago to fix it.

The next morning when I confronted the desk clerk I was told they did not have HBO. I don't know if this was a scam to get us to stay or was it a right out lie . I don't like to be lied to and think you should compensate me the difference between the lowest motel rate and what I actually paid.
