New Lady Fitness/Club LaFemme

Here is my complaint. After signing a 3 year contract with New Lady Fitness/Club LaFemme in the Kansas City area, I used the club for about 3 months and then switched jobs (to a job with an in house gym), however, I honored my commitment to the gym that I had signed a contract with. Now, the 3 years is up, and I've been trying to cancel. And what do I learn? The gym has folded. There isn't one working telephone number to any of the branches in my area (or even in the two other major cities the chain operated under). The corporate website has been removed from the web, and the company that handles the electronic withdraw's has no phone number listed. How on earth can someone even begin to see about cancelling a membership when there is no functional telephone number to find out who to contact! What a mess. So I'd warn anyone and everyone to stay away from this gym.
