Chevrolet Car Sales of Glendale, Brand BLVD.

Chevrolets, Astro Van engine light always on. I brought my van to

Glenn, Chevolet to have them look/fix the engine light. They said it

would cost 90 some dollars to check it out and see what is wrong. They

checked it out and said some of the engine sensors were not working, and

it also needed a tune-up. The car has 120k miles on it. They said it

would cost 1400 to fix the light.

I complained that two years ago I brought it in there for the same

engine light. That time it wound up costing over 2000 and they made

some excuse that they couldn't fix the light at that time.

Well after trying to get the car smogged I remembered about the previous

unsuccessful fix. I reminded them but it was to no avail.

Well after checking the blue book value of the car I realized how they

price their 'lamp' repair. They take the blue book value and charge a

little less.

After I complained about the 1400 cost to repair, and said don't do the

work. They mentioned that they could lower the price a couple hundred.

To make the story short, we said don't bother we are going to buy a

Toyota, I trust their work. We bought a Toyota, and don't plan to buy

any American made cars again. Once again reminded of how GM treats its

customers. Thank you GM, now we own two Toyotas and are very happy.
