Logitech Wireless Music System for IPOD Rebate

I was told that my rebate was invalid because the UPC code that came from the product packaging does not match the UPC code for the rebate in their records. The rebate form that they required all requests to use does not state the UPC code that must be submitted, just a part number. My product's part number matches the one on the rebate form and is represented on the UPC code. Even if I came up with another UPC, they could easily state that that UPC does not match the one in their records because they won't tell me which one they're looking for.

I have re-submitted copies of my paperwork through FAX and PDF emailings to the company and they continue to refuse to honor the rebate. I believe they have absolutely no intention of honoring the rebate request for any customer. I have contacted the Federal Trad Commission (FTC), the Better Business Bureau, and the distributor J&R Music filing this exact complaint. No word yet.

Info about rebate follows: Logitech Wireless Music System purchased through J&R Music. Rebate of $50 through rebatestatus.com. Rebate number ##### submitted Feb 2, 2007. Unique tracking number #####-#######. I have multiple email interactions with the company that are all canned responses.
