Hi My name is Jeff Hagedorn and I am writing to complain about Dish

Network. I have about 20 people that I know personally who have been

ripped off by these people and they don't care and wont do anything

about it. I have disputed the charges from my credit union and Dish

made them charge me back 199.00. Believe me its not the 200.00

dollars its totally principle. I ordered dish because I purchased a

80k motor home and I wanted to get a dish for it so I changed my

services from cable to dish. Everything was suppose to be free except

for the hd dvr reciever which I would never own and just use and

return when I cancel my subscription, I inquired about how much the

"mini dome dish on the roof of my rv was going to be and they told me

3 times it was going to be free. I even asked on several different

occasions and they guaranteed it was going to be free and they also

guaranteed 100% satisfaction Guarantee if I wasn't completely

satisfied.I informed the person on the phone that I didn't have a

phone jack in my custom entertainment center and they said with my

free installation I would get phone jacks installed for free at time

of service. When they came out to my home to install everything not

only did they not install the phone jacks, but they said I was to use

1 box for two rooms. Since the installers spoke very little to no

English, I had to call dish and they informed me that they didn't

install those anymore that I would need to go somewhere else to do

that. I told them I was promised a "mini Dish" they told me no and

enjoy my services and hung up on me. When I called back they

transferred me to a manager and he said "what part of no don't you

understand" and said he was confused as to why I was calling back

after I was already told no and hung up on me again.At that point a

black out box came over my television and told me I had to plug my

receiver into the phone jack so When they came on the line I asked

them what the black box was for and they stated that I needed a phone

jack installed and I told them that the installers where suppose to

do this, they said it was going to ba an additional 5 dollars a month

per box for not having a phone jack. Needless to say I cancelled my

services after arguing with a representative on the phone for over 30

min telling me that I had to give them one more chance and enjoy my

services. I told them no way cancel my services immediately and they

not only told me I had to go on my roof and take the dish down, but

also I needed to mail them my boxes back and that the 199.00 was no

refundable because it was an upgrade and I told them they lied to me

and I only had service for one day. They told me too bad and when I

asked where they were located, they wouldn't tell me but would

transfer me and I soon talked to someone at the corporate offices who

told me once again no way and he said he asked his manager and she

said no so when I asked to talk to her she wouldn't get on the phone

but I was able to leave a message and her recording said she would

call me back within 24 hours and never heard from her again. I am

going to start a web page and a petition to all the consumers who

have been totally ripped off by DISH NETWORK which shouldn't be hard

considering I personally know about 20 people and Any who has dealt

with them has a horror story. I cant believe dish network hasn't been

shut down yet. Someone needs to go to bat for all us consumers.
