Whirlpool Refrigerator (195 Lts)

Hi :

I have purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator from Army Canteen in the name of my friend 3 years back. The fridge comes with 6+1 years warranty. The model of the fridge is 195 DLX (Apple red color).

2 months back, I noticed rust on the front door of fridge. I called the authorized service guy and he told me that he has never seen such type of problem. The paint on the outer side was good as new but the rust was coming from somewhere inside the door which shows the poor quality of the product.

They told me that they will buy my fridge at 50% price and give me a fridge of my choice and of course I have to pay for the new fridge. But I need to show them 3 years old bill of the fridge. Somehow, I managed to search the bill. But now they are saying that because my name is not on the bill, so they can not do anything.

Using your medium, I just want to let consumers of India know that the quality of Whirlpool products is very bad. On top of that the service they offer is worst. Please don't buy any Whirlpool product.

Also, I am unable to find the mail ids of Whirlpool managers, so please forward it to any/all Whirlpool managers.
