Alliance One Collections

Alliance One Collections I had a $1,500 bill from a local hospital after a motor vehicle accident. I waited until after the insurance paid thier portion before I paid the balance. However, in the meantime, the hospital sent the bill to Alliance One Collections and the phone calls started. I got to the point I recognized the phone number and refused to answer. Once I received the information on the $200.00 balance due it was paid the next day and then the hosptail sent me $100.00 refund. Now 6 months later Alliance is back in the calling mode trying to collect another $340 bill that does not exist. I have printouts from the hospital showing the $0.00 balance. Alliance One is nothing but a poor example of a scam artist. Becky Osterwald Denver, Colorado Becky O. They could owe you some serious money for messing up your credit file. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (15 U.S.C. 1692) gives a debt collector a guide for collections, anything outside of this is a Federal violation which they can be penalized. Several debt collectors have paid me to dismiss their allegations when I have filed a petition against them in court. It works. Contact a local attorney or Lexington Law firm which has attorneys that deal with this type of abuse.
