The Great Expectations off Lynnhaven Rd. In Virginia Beach, Va imply that they charge so much because you will meet people of "quality".

My husband joined in 2002. Within 2 months he paid over $1100.00 to be a member. They took pictures of him, and advertised him in the way he told them. He told them he was divorced and retired military.

I found out about this when my husband and I reunited after a 2 yr. Separation. I saw the charge on his charge account. I called the company and told them they better not bother sending any more bills because (1) My husband and I had been married for 27 years, we never divorced. (2) Most importantly, my husband is not retired military. He is 100% total & perm. Mentally disabled from the military. He has PTSD as well as he's passive/aggressive. He can not work, he does not get along with most people.

Just because a dating service charges a high price, it does not mean you get a better "quality" of people. All they are interested in is getting your money.

They stopped billing, but I feel they should have give a 100% refund.
