Dell computers and vista

Dell computers supplied a computer in January to me in New Zealand, the computer works very well,

but the windows Vista upgrade I paid for 11th feb 2007 has not been supplied. I have phoned the 0800

number four times to be told I will receive windows vista in one fortnight. Mid march no vista,

phone again end march still no vista, April still no vista. Today I phoned five times, I was

transferred twice and cut off altogether. I was again assured I would get windows vista at the end

of April !!!!! I finally found I have been phoning Malaysia, it is difficult to understand what is

said, but the representative told me that “ Dell do not have windows vista, Microsoft have not

supplied them with vista as it is unstable”. So if windows vista is unstable, what are the computers

and laptops being sold and advertised on the TV in New Zealand and on the web doing with windows

vista already loaded. Does this mean Dell are lying about the supply of Vista or does this mean that

all the computers currently on sale have an unstable program installed. I wonder which it is, I have

referred my complaint to the NZ Consumer department . Don’t buy a dell without finding out first.

You could have a program that does not work at all.

It is not so much what others think of you, what is really important is what you think of yourself.
