On January 20th, 2007 we ordered and paid in full for a wedding dress for my daughter’s May 20th wedding. We were promised a delivery date of April 14th, which is 12 weeks from the date the order was placed. One April 13th my daughter called to check on the dress and was told there was a problem with the dress and the delivery date was pushed back to May 7th. I called the store and spoke with the store manager who told me there had been a problem with the fabric and the dress was rejected by QA. NO ONE BOTHERED TO CALL US!!!!!!!!! I asked to speak to the regional manager and was given the run around. The next day my daughter found and purchased another dress at another location (for more money), and when she went to David’s Bridal for the refund they told her it would be 8 weeks before she would get her refund. When my daughter called me, I asked to speak to the manager and was placed on hold for a long time. They eventually came on the phone and asked if she could call me back and I refused. When the manager, Christie, finally came to the phone I explained to her that 8 weeks was unacceptable and I wanted my money by Monday. She stated she would call the regional manager, Linda Manzola, and see if it could be expedited. After waiting some time for a return call, I called her back and she said she had been unable to get ahold of the regional manager, and had left her a message and was waiting a return call. I have since called the regional managers office and the corporate office to make a complaint and am awaiting a return call. I feel as if David’s Bridal doesn’t really care about us. I will never recommend them to another person.
