It's a bit of a long story, but please bare with me because I've been going threw some ruff times and can't get the help I need. The crazy thing is, all your about to read is based on seeing the Dr to get medication I need for Bi-polar disorder. Lithium, a simple, non Narcotic natural element of the earth. Although, it is dangerous to stay off meds for more than a few days. It's also illegal for them to deny me my meds. Anyway, I've been on lithium since I was 15. I am now 31. I've never had a problem making appointments. Rite now the Medical Center is punishing me by restricting me. They have me on restriction from making appointments. I had a lower abdominal hernia repair Aug, 06. It's been hard to move around allot. I'm still healing. I had to start work before I was ready because of bills. Hard work, Graveyard, 50 hrs a week. The Sumner Community Health knows about surgery and my situation. (same organization as T.C.H). They don't really seem to care. They are only concerned with me abiding by there rules instead of helping me. I've never had to make this many appointments this often for Lithium refill. My previous Dr used to give me a year supply. It's never been a problem. (Community Health Center of Washington State) I started at the Sumner clinic, Had to move to new location before surgery. Decided to change to Tacoma Community Health center location. The commute to Sumner was to painful with surgery and manual transmission. I went to Tacoma Health location for the first time thinking I could be seen. The Sumner clinic informed the Tacoma clinic that I missed appointments but didn't inform them of my surgery or hard times I've been going threw,or that I'm bi-polar and it's dangerous to go off medication this long. And now The Tacoma clinic won't let me be seen. The front desk person gave me so much grief about not making my appointments, I felt like a 5 yr old child in the principles office. before I had a chance to explain, she belittled me and made me feel like a fool. I have never been talked to that rudely by a front desk person at a health center in my life.

I couldn't get anywhere with this front desk person so I ended up having to leave and find a new health center entirely. (rude, disrespectful front desk person shift is 8:00 am on 4-11-07.)
