A & E factory Service and KitchenAid A & E Factory Service MA

I have been having problems with my range since it was brand new. We bought it in 2002, but the house wasn't finished being built until 2003. Problems with it within 2 months. The light in the oven would constantly blow out, and then the oven would shut itself down for about 2 hours then restart. The oven worked fine unless you had light bulbs in the socket. It was a new oven so I kept calling for repair. I mean the oven is suppose to have lights in it, but for some reason my stove kept sending a surge through the bulbs and shattering them. Called kitchenaid and they kept sending down A & E to fix it. Never was fixed for long. This past time the repairman came to the house and told me the switch was broken, (have had switch repaired twice already) he replaced it but the lights still did not work. He decided to order a new control panel and microchip. My oven worked fine before he stepped in my door except I had no lights. When he left he told me the oven was still working and that the parts would be in in about 2 weeks. The oven did not work when he left. He installed that switch wrong. The oven works backwards. I have a convection oven and when you open the door the fan stops, and when you close the door the fan starts. Well, mine does the opposite! When the door is closed it is telling me to shut the door! At first I thought it was funny, I mean everybody make mistakes. But when I called A & E to come back and fix that, they told me I had to wait the 2 weeks for the parts that were ordered! I tried to tell them it was the new part the technician just put in that broke my oven. Now I don't even have an oven for two weeks. I just wanted the tec to come back and fix what he did wrong. They are going to have to fix that switch when they come back in two weeks, why can't they fix it now so that I could at least be able to cook in the meantime. They were so rude, the tech started yelling at me, saying he didn't put anything in wrong, that he left the oven the same way it was before he came. If that was the case was does it say light repair on oven, not oven working backwards. Kitchenaid is just as bad, because it is still under warranty and they can't make the tech come back until the parts come in. This is so frustrating! I've told people about this and they can't believe it. I now have an oven that only works when the door is open! A good service company would have sent someone back down to my house that same day, or the next day the latest. I have over 15,000 dollars worth of kitchenaid appliances in my house. To make this even worse my new dishwasher had to have the motor pump replace 3 times! I would have been better off just going without a light in my oven. A & E should be put out of business. Customer service they know nothing about. Very dissapointed in both of these companies. I have reported them to the BBB and to my local TV station. They are going to investigate, A & E and Kitchenaid are not going to get away with treating customers like this. Sandy B.
