Providian to Wamu to SST in a day

I like so many others was sold by providian to wahington mutal. I tried to make my early payment with providian as usual, only to find out I was sold to Wahington Mutual. Followed all links to get a downed website, unabe to reach any one. I persued for almost a week before reaching sst were they said I was late and owed them a crazy amount of money, and my intrest rate was through the roof. I was unable to talk them out of the extra fees until I politly told them " what I am going to do now is hang up and go to my attorneys office from which you will recieve my next call" then they waived all late fees brought my apr to a "generous" 18.99% apr. I have 677 credit score. This is just, simply stated, nuts. Would love it if there was a way to sue the life out of providian, and sst. This kind of stuff is completely unacceptable.
