IBM Laptop warranty issue

I bought a new warranty for my IBM laptop for next one year. However, instead of putting the right serial number on phone, the IBM sales representative put the wrong serial number and put my warranty information on some other machine. This happened in the beginning of June.

Since then, I have called every phone number at IBM, written more than 15 emails to various contacts, but IBM has shown an utter disregard to my need. My computer went down a week after I bought my warranty and I have not been able to use the laptop (T42). It is unfortunate how cold all the executives have acted for my 2 months of helpless calls. Is there some other way to push such callousness with IBM? Also, will IBM refund me for 2 months of warranty that I was not able to use because of their neglect?

I would like to tell everyone to avoid an IBM/Lenovo laptop because of the utter disregard they have for the consumer. The executives I have talked at IBM are Vladimir Wallace, Curtis Jackson amd Susan Hawkins.
