Dodge Trucks - Daimler Chrysler

Dodge Trucks - Daimler Chrysler I have filed a complaint with your organization regarding my 2000 Dodge truck. The dash has cracked to pieces creating a serious hazard in the event of an airbag deployment. Not only could these pieces puncture the airbag and keep it from working properly, but it is possible that one of the shards could be propelled and someone could be "stabbed" under the right circumstances. I have tried numerous times to get some kind of action from Daimler Chrysler. Were I the only one experiencing this problem, I could accept the excuses they have made. However, according to your own web site, and many others, this is a problem that is very common. Following is Daimler Chrysler's latest response, as well as my initial contact. Please advise me of any further action that might be taken so that this problem can be resolved; not only for me, but for the many other Dodge truck owners who are experiencing this problem. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ----- Original Message ----- From: "customerassist" Email User To: "Elizabeth Campbell" Email User Sent: Wednesday, September 06, 2006 11:39 AM Subject: Re: DaimlerChrysler Customer Assistance (KMM4194683I25261L0KM) > Dear Elizabeth: > > Thank you for contacting the Chrysler Group Customer Assistance Center. > > Your recent email to DaimlerChrysler Motors Corporation was received and > reviewed by the Customer Assistance Center. > > Your concerns, particularly in view of the expense and inconvenience > involved in this issue, are understandable.
