I would like to file a complaint against The Debt Consolidation Co., Inc.

This company charged an enrollment fee of $459.00 to consolidate my credit card bills. They promised to lower my monthly bills and lower the interest on the cards. After 3 months, all late fees would be removed from the bills. My credit cards would then be reaged on my credit report. Last week I got a call asking for me to pay almost $500.00 more a month. This is more than I would have paid if I had not contacted them. I asked them why they hadn’t done all they had promised to do. They said they had never promised any of those things because they don’t know when these agreements with my credit card companies would take place. They completely lied to me. I am in worse shape now than when I started. I now have to consider bankruptcy. Can you believe that? They do the exact opposite of what they promise to do. This is a company that will lead you to bankruptcy instead of preventing it.
