I purchased 3 textbooks from 3 different sellers on half.com on August 21, 2006. I received none of the books nor any responses from the sellers when inquiring about them. I filed complaints on all 3 with Half and am still waiting out their maximum 30 day response period. In the meantime I have e-mailed them several times about their Buyer Protection Policy which states that only one complaint can be filed per month. It says in their "Help" section that they would respond within 24-48 hours, 72 at the most. I have heard nothing from them. After further investigation (by searching for the sellers' names on Google), I found an eBay message board where other users who have been screwed said that Half was having problems with orders placed between August 18-21. One of which was sending out confirmation e-mails on the same purchase multiple times. I remember getting one at least 35 times. So it seems that Half / eBay does not want to do anything to help their customers for errors that they may have had something to do with. All I want is a refund for my $192.93. I don't think that's unreasonable at all. If the Buyer Protection Policy is what it is then I guess I get to pick which of the three orders I want refunded. What a load of garbage.

By the way, the three sellers are catzbooks, emanneull3332, and gattara3223. All of these users had great feedback at the time of purchase. Look at it now…I'm not the only one this has happened to. Also, it is also very convenient that all of these people are "no longer registered".
