I need to inform you of the reason why my Amana refrigerator was not working! Somehow the freezer dial got turned to "off." I would imagine from sliding the top basked in and out, something stored there must have jammed and when the basket was pushed in the dial was turned to off. Thank you.

In December 2003 I purchased an Amana refrigerator with bottom freezer. Last night after returning home I noticed the refrigerator contents were warm. Items in the freezer were defrosted. I called Amana/Maytag repair today and was told that a repairman would be here between noon and 5:00 TOMORROW. Needless to say I have lost everything in both compartments. It is an ARB1914CC model, serial #10342786CR which when I phoned was told that serial number belongs to another person! Now how could that be?

I would like to inform you of my complaint as we check your Consumer Reports for various items.
