Complaint RE: meritline.com This is a complaint against www.cdrdvdmedia.com (aka meritline.com)
I ordered a product from them off of pricewatch.com and received a confirmation email from them. 10 days later I receive an email saying my order was cancelled because I did not respond to them.
When I questioned them about this, they said they sent 3 emails to me and received no response. When I sent them copies of the 3 emails (one of which was just a weekly ad they send out), all of which said NOTHING about needing to respond, they replied that they asked for credit card info confirmation.
I wrote back reminding them I gave them all my credit card info, including the security code from the back, and the shipping address matched the CC billing address, so there was nothing to confirm, since I can confirm they already had it on file, because it was included in the first confirmation email they sent me.
Bottom line: EVen though I asked, they've made no effort to reinstate my order, and they are just trying to get out of selling me the item at the adverstised rate on pricewatch, so they make up fake reasons to cancel your order.
