Complain on OC auto Sound On 08/05/06, I went to OC Auto Sound in Fountain Valley for an installation of a car alarm in my 2005 Chevy Aveo. The employee that I spoke with had promise me to install an alarm for $350 (paid in cash, have receipt if needed). As my car was in the installation process, an employee notified me that my car would need a “zibb module” to finish the car alarm installation. OC Auto sound did not have the “zibb module” in stock and told me that they needed to order it. The employee told me that I would cost an additional $100 to order such product and that installation would NOT be finish on that day. I went ahead and paid with my Visa credit card for such product, to later find out that OC Auto Sound was trying to charge for a product that does not exist. A receipt was given to me, as I was told to comeback another day to finish the installation for a Zibb module. Reasons I am disputing this charge: 1. I never went back to OC Auto Sound for the installation of a “Zibb Module” 2. The so call “Zipp module” does not exist in the market (consulted numerous professional installers/mechanics. Fraud?) 3. I have attempted to resolve this issue with OC Auto Sound in good faith 4. Merchant did not provide me the actual physical product 5. OC Auto Sound failed to deliver what they promised (a full install for $350) 6. Filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) with no resolution from OC Auto Sound 7. When I confronted the merchant about the “definition of a Zibb Module” I did not get an answer. 8. Till today i still do no have a resolution Merchant Address is 16335 Harbor Blvd, fountain Valeey CA 92708 From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 28-Sep-06 03:39:52 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
