Direct Buy Membership Nightmare

A year ago I saw an informational about Direct Buy I called the number to get information about it. Several days later I went to the Direct Buy site of Baltimore located on 10950 Gilroy Road Suite A Hunt Valley Maryland 21031 phone number 410-316-9000 fax 410-316-9017 and website www.directbuy.net. While I sat there listen to the presentation I was very interested to sign up for the membership as I proceed I spoke with Tom Jr.(I don't remember the last name) he informed that if I walk out the door I could never return or tell anybody else about the place and what I saw at the presentation at the point I started to cry heavily. I was young and I didn't quite understand if it was possible for him to lock me out so I continued to cry, signed and pay what little I could at the time which the initial fee to hold membership was $800 and $600 for the 36months after. At that time I only paid $150 that was in my pocket. Then later on I wanted to cancelled the membership I was told the only way I can cancelled the membership is to pay the whole entire balance and 2years worth of it to cancelled the membership. Ever since then I have been constantly battling to get this situation cleared up now my account has went to a collection agency were I explained to them the situation and they said they can not do anything but collect the money that I owe. Now it is on my credit report and it has gotten to the point that I can't get a job due to my credit history which this is the only blemish that it's on it
