Home Depot you can do, but we won't help you

The Home Depot in Gates NY, on Buffalo Rd will not get any m ore of my money. My husband and I gutted our kitchen, laundry room andbathroom. To the studs. Even though we have done everything ourselves, all new materials, from new electrical wire, insulation and drywall, to big things like all new cabinets, appliances and flooring, we have spent a TON of money in this store.

I work close by, and got a call form my husband to please pick up a piece of piece of plumbing forhim to finish the plumbing fo the new washer and dryer. WEll, I hate to admit it, but I could not find it. NOR could I find an associate to help me. I finally found 3 associates in the kitchen/applaince section.

One got up and walked away, although I think he was actually helping someone else. THe other 2 just sat there. SO I stood there for a few minutes. I guess I was hoping one of them would acknowledge me and ask if they could help. They did not. Unfortunately I could hear some of the things they were saying. And it was disturbing, one of the men is a MANAGER. His name is Frank. I know this becasue we are in there ALL THE TIME. THey were sitting there talking about another employee's laziness, said his name and everything. Right there in the store, on the 'selling floor' And while customers are in the store, practically begging for help. But bad mouthing another employee was more important.

I am in customer service/sales myself, and I have to say I was appalled! You NEVER do that sorta stuff when a customers. And this Frank guy. What a jerk. As long as this is the behavior Home Depot keeps as managers, I will shop at Lowes. Or ANYWHERE.
