Alltel Alltel poor customer service. I suggest you look at other services before you seriously consider Alltel. I was with Cellular One for more than 10 years and had no problems. When Alltel took over I have more problems with dropped calls, but That is not my serious complaint. I added another phone to my present contract. Little did I know I was really signing up for another 2 yrs on the added phone for my 89 year old mother. The phone they sold me doesn't work which I didn't find out until 3 weeks after we got the phone when my sister called me to ask why moms phone never rings but goes to voice mail which she doesn't have. I took the phone back and was too late to complain because we only have 15 days to bring the phone back. We will be charged while the phone is being repaired. I was told "There is no loaner phone available now but you will still be charged for no service because we have a contract." Needles to say I will be leaving Alltel ASAP.
