Here is a complaint that I have about a large rental company in Lynchburg, VA. I appreciate what you do and I think it is important for consumers to know what they are getting into before buying from a company:

This complaint is about Brownstone Properties in Lynchburg Virginia. Last January, I moved into a townhouse that Brownstone Properties operates. Prior to moving in, I expressed that I would be bringing a small dog and paid them the required $200 pet fee. They said this was fine, and since I was moving from Ohio, I made sure that the dog was ok to bring before taking the trip to move. About a month after living in my townhome, I recieve a letter from Brownstone saying that my dog was not approved. After reviewing the policy on dogs in my townhome again (which was 25 pounds or less and over a year old, both of which my year a half old 9 pound chihuahua met) I called the manager of the company to ask what went wrong and to make sure that they did recieve my payment. When I asked why I was not allowed to keep the dog, the manager got very rude and said that it was none of my business. No neighbors had complained, the dog met the requirements, I had asked permission, and I had paid the fee. I had to find a home for my lovely canine companion and the company has been very rude to my household since, including not fixing problems or exteriminating my townhome. I advise to think twice before renting from this company.

Brownstone Properties is a total rip off and they lie cheat and steal. they got us to move from Northern Maryland, stole our money and now we;re taking them to court. Jennipher Lucado the President, is a wack job black widow! She'll make you think she's kind and then smack you when you're down. I have heard her onthe phone screaming at customers. The entire office is full of unprofessional quacks who can't do their job. They never keep any promises and don't know their left from their right!
