Travelocity defrauds the consumer

Travelocity defrauds the consumer Travelocity.com advertises itself as the one-stop place to book travel (flights, hotels, cars, etc.) But don't have a change in your plans -- it can be expensive (if not impossible) to change. We booked a round-trip flight and hotel room for a week trip. Afterwards, we were asked to stay at the home of our host. Although Travelocity's web site gives very specific guidance about how to cancel a hotel (complete with screen displays!), you can never seem to bring up your trip under "My Stuff." So when contacting them at VIP Customer service (I know, but we book -- that is used to book -- a fair amount of business with them), I was surprised to hear that it was not possible to cancel the hotel but keep the flight reservations. Their only option was to cancel the entire trip, then re-book the flights (but the seats and flights may not be available, and there may be -- meaning WILL DEFINITELY BE -- penalties and charges to cancel). What kind of option is that? We sent several emails to VIP customer service, each time being answered by someone obviously not comfortable with the English language. Travelocity does not want our money -- and to advertise a feature (the ability to cancel a hotel reservation) that does not exist is plain and simple fraud.
