Pureology Hair Products Www.HairProductsUsa.com located in Tucson, Arizona
I paid $20 dollars, for what I assumed to be a Pureology product in an 8.5 ounce bottle; Pureology is a company making hair care products. No other business I could find, had a lower price which is why I was attracted to this site! When my package arrived from Hair Products Usa, I noticed it being unusually small in size for what I thought I had purchased and when I opened it I was shocked to find its contents...
It contained 6 sample packets that are supposed to be free, while I was charged a whopping $20 dollars in all for these things. When I contacted these individuals, to complain they justified this and basically informed me that I should be satisfied with my product? This obviously upset me even further as their customer service was abhorrently bad and wrong, they didn't give me the benefit of the doubt and would not give me a refund. All I asked, was to be refunded the entire price so I could possibly purchase the correct product I originally believed I was getting? They would not work to correct this dilemma even slightly. They did tell me I could send this order back, but I would be stuck with all of their shipping fee and a 20 percent re stocking fee; I was outraged and basically said why should I send it back and give you the satisfaction, all the while them being blatantly in the wrong!
Also, because of my obvious view that they had sold me samples that are supposed to be free, I did a bunch of research to completely verify my stance with this obvious hunch. First I looked at several other beauty product dealers further clarified this view, that they had indeed sold me product (samples) which are not to be charged for in the first place; these samples are meant to be given for no charge for legitimate purchases, as well as by professional hair stylists... Finally I contacted the manufacturer of the product I received, who when learned of this thanked me and backed this up further. Also, Pureology took down this fraudulent company's name and address and said they will attempt to have this stopped immediately, while stating also that they will have their lawyers deal with this matter in relation to this scam being pulled by this company. They also, wanted my name so they can send me the product I wanted in the first place and as a gesture for me advising them of this scam being pulled. They were very upset with this company selling their free samples, as this not only is against their policy (Pureology's), but is quite frankly putting them in a bad light... Also, the lady I spoke with at Pureology of this web based company called Hair Products Usa, stated as well that they look suspicious and are selling products of theirs they shouldn't even have or be selling in the first place... If I can help others steer clear of this company on the web, then I will feel great knowing others have avoided being scammed like I was so wrongly! Take care and best of luck in dealing with honest and good businesses...
