NO MORE DUST WHEEL CLEANER PART APF602

NO MORE DUST WHEEL CLEANER PART APF602

I PURCHASED A SET OF POLISHED RIMS FOR MY VEHICLE , A 11997 C1500 PICK UP TRUCK, I DECIDED TO PURCHASE SOME RIMS WHICH DID TO THE TUNE OF 505.0. I HAD THE RIMS ABOUT 3 WEEKS WHEN I DECIDED TO CLEAN THEM. I PURCHASED A BOTTLE OF NO MORE DUST WHEEL CLEANER FROM THE LOCAL PARTS STORE AND I READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND FELT AS IF I FOLLOWED THEM TO THE LETTER. WHEN I APPLIED A SAMPLE FOR TESTING THE AREA WAS FIND AND THEN I SPRAYED THE ENTIRE RIM WAITED ABOUT 30 SECONDS AND SPRAYED THE RIM AND TO MY HORROR IT LOOKED AS THOUGH IT HAD FADED AND STREAKED. I RUB AND RUB AND THE APPEARANCE OF THE RIM GOT NO BETTER, I DID NOT APPLY IT TO ANY OTHER OF MY RIMS AND I WAITED UNTIL THEY WERE COOLED OFF, NOT HOT TO THE TOUCH AND I DID NOT SPRAY THE RIM WITH WATER BEFORE I SPRAYED THE SOLUTION ON THE RIM. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE AND DISSATISFYING EXPERIENCE WITH A PRODUCT I PURCHASED WITH FOR ANY OF MY VEHICLE AND WHAT MAKES IT SO BAD I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO TO COMPLAIN TO GET REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE RIM THAT I WILL HAVE TO REPLACE WHICH ARE NOT EVEN A MONTH OLD!

While using Professional Favorites No More Dust wheel cleaner I had the same experience as everyone else with my aluminum rims turning milky white and cloudy in color. To my horror I asked someone else that sells the product and he said he had the same problem when he tried to clean his rims he advised me to you use mothers aluminum polish paste it has taken off the cloudiness. I will NEVER use this product again and nor will he. He gave me a whole bunch of Eagle products and rags and the mothers paste for free.

We have had the exact same problem as you with this product. My husband had an estimate to fix/buff his wheels at the cost of $300 per wheel. Did you ever find a number to complain to? I am going to try writing to the address on the back of the bottle to see if we get a response. The address is:

I recently had a very bad experience with this product! I applied the product to two aluminum Weld Racing rims on my race trailer (as per instructions) and much to my surprise, the rims turned white, streaked and looked awful. I immediately tried to remove the white streaking and cloudiness by rubbing/buffing the rims by hand and had no luck! I immediately got online and found this site. I have e-mailed Advance Auto, the store who seems to be responsible for this product in some way, and after roughly three weeks...no response!! I am about to go on another search and see if I can get a more direct line to "Professional's Favorite" and get to the bottom of this. If anyone out there has had a similar experience and has broken the code getting in touch with someone, please let me know. Thank you for any assistance with this.
