CHARTER COMMUNICATION,ST.LOUIS I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR CABLE TO BE HOOKED UP FOR TWO WEEKS. FIRST A TECH. CAME OUT AND SAID HE GOT STUNG BY A BEE AND HE WAS ALLERGIC TO THEM. AND HE WOULD HAVE O RESCHEDULE. SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE TO TELL THEM WHAT HAPPENED,THE TECH. TOLD THEM HE HAD A FAMILY EMERGENCY,THAT'S NOT WHAT HE TOLD ME. SO THEY RESCHEDULED ME FOR EIGHT DAYS LATER.BETWEEN 1-5PM.I WAITED NO ONE SHOWED UP BY 5:00pm SO I CALLED AND THEY SAID SOMEONE WOULD BE OUT IN ABOUT 20 MIN, NO ONE SHOWED UP. SO THEY RESHEDULED ME FOR THE NEXT DAY BETWEEN 8AM AND 1PM NO ONE SHOWED UP .I CALL BACK AND THEY SAY I'M SCHEDULED BETWEEN 1-5 . @1PM A TECH. CALLED AND SAID HE WAS ON HIS WAY AND THAT WOULD I BE WAITING OUTSIDE FOR HIM. I WAITED AND NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP.SO I CALLED AND TALKED TO A SUPV.SHE SAID THAT SHE WAS GOING TO RADIO THE TECH. AND CALL BACK IN 10MIN. SHE NEVER CALLED BACK,

. SO I CALLED AGAIN ,AND THE WORKER FIRST TOLD ME SHE DID'NT SEE A ORDER FOR TODAY. AND THEN SHE SAID THAT THE TECH THAT CAME OUT THE FIRST TIME SAID THAT SOMEONE WAS SELLING DRUGS FROM THIS LOCATION, THAT'S WHY NO ONE HAD BEEN OUT. I THEN AGAIN SPOKE TO THE SUPV.AND TOLD HER WHAT WAS SAID.WHICH I DID NOT APPRECIATE WHEN ME AND MY FIANCE JUST PURSHASED THE SAID PROPERTY. SHE RE SCHEDULED ME FOR 2 WKS FROM TODAY AFTER I'VE ALREADY BEEN RESCHEDULED TWICE. WHEN I ASKED FOR A NUMBER TO A LOCAL NUMBER .TO CALL AND SPESK WITH SOMEONE ABOUT THE PROBLEM OF GETTING SERVICE HOOKED UP AND BEENING CONSTANTLY,LIED TO THE SUPV. THEN HUNG UP THE PHONE.

yeah here in Janesville, WI i had an appoiment scheduled and they didn't show up called got a reschedule didn't show so i called and went off on them then got a third reschedule. he didn't show so i called got a reschedule then he showed 20 min after i called and after he was done i still had problems. My internet cuts in and out same with tv. They ran all new wiring through my house and gave me a new box and everything still got problems then when i wanted a outlet put in my bedroom the guy drilled through the wall the wrong way cracking the panneling in my room! then just today i try asking a simple question to a "agent" (more like retard with a pc) and they did nothing to help me so i emailed them this:

OK, now you tell me how is that possibly being helpful? Either she is way to stupid to have a simple convo, or she is illiterate. Then on top of it all she finishes and just gets off! I seriously feel insulted! How can you expect people to buy your services with support like that. I work as a Computer Data Security Manager. We build and sell computers. When people ask me and my employees who they should go to for internet i will honestly from now on tell them to go to AT&T because you guys obviously don't care about your customers and i guarentee i will be cancelling my service very shortly to switch to AT&T and Dish. I can not believe how bad all of your service is. If you don't believe me on what i pasted for the convo i even took screne shots to prove it. here are the web addresses for them:

Now, when i get home tonight I'll be calling AT&T and Dish. Their completely incapable of doing anything right!!

Charter Communications

Same here in NC. Finally got an alternative to Charter so cancelled internet one day, scheduled cancellation of cable 4 days later. They never cancelled the cable, then needed to speak to my husband, said I wasn't listed on the account. Then WHY did they allow me to cancel internet, not to mention speak to me on a monthly basis regarding terrible service??? Now I can't get them to pick up their equipment as agreed upon. (I'm sure they will try to bill me for it.) The kicker??? Today they called on our PRIVATE phone line, waking up my husband who works 12 hr shifts at night to SIGN HIM UP FOR SERVICES!!! PLEASE avoid the rage that is sure to follow if you choose Charter.

Wow, I am having the same problem. Today was the 4th visit from a tech who said he needed a crew to wire the apartment for cable. We told Charter this before the first appointment. Each time they send 1 guy who leaves after 5 minutes. There is no way to contact someone locally who can actually do the work. You would think that in the STL metropolitan area they would be able to send out a crew to wire the place no problem! HA! I am so damned tired to calling Charter, getting an idiot on the phone out of state, who can only send an email to who knows where. Doesn't Charter require their workers to turn in completed work tickets? Apparently not! They just blow you off and don't even think about returning.
