I was trying to go on the internet to find this company because I received my phone bill and there were charges on it for this Personal Voice. I had never authorized any Personal Voice on my account. I called this company to find out what these charges were and upon talking to them the account was under a different name and address. I asked them how they could bill something to my phone number from a different name and address and they stated that the customer just had to go on the internet and sign up for 30 days of this service free and would receive $1000 free grocery coupons. All the customer had to do was put in a different phone number and this would be the account that was billed. It didn't matter if the person was the same person that the phone number was listed under.

The company stated that they would generate a credit request letter and that I would have to fill it out and request that these charges be credited back to my account. Three weeks later I still had not received the letter so I called the company again. They had mailed it to the address of the person that had signed up for the personal voice which was not me or my address.

This company charges the phone number and does not verify the name or address on the account. As of this date, they still have not credited the charges back to Centurytel or myself. Centurytel has put the charges in dispute and are sending the request to Personal Voice, Inc.

I don't understand how this company can get away with charging people's phone number without verifying that the name and address is the same on the phone number as the person opening the account with Personal Voice, Inc.

Something should be done about this company.
