Purchased a Chevy Aveo 2006 left over with 47 miles on it. Due to the fact of poor credit & that I work over 60 hours a week, I allowed them to arrange financing. I signed a contract with GMAC for 72 months at $301.00. I went home with the car and arranged for the insurance to take over immediately. For over a week I drove around showing all my friends and family my new car. One week later I get a call from David the finance guy that brokered the deal saying I was rejected and the new contract that he found puts me at a little over $350 a month!

I went to the internet and discovered what is called Yo Yo financing. The all internet consumers web sites advised not to resign but return the car. That dealerships that practice this can not be trusted. I went back to the dealership and told them I could not possibly afford. Well all heck broke lose! They pull out all of the big guns and claimed that no way could I return the car, then would contradict themselves and say you need to sign this contract or we will keep the car and sell it out from under you and you’ll lose your deposit! When I refused to sign the finance guy David grabbed my paper work and said, “OK, I will start the paper work.” He never came back. I was yelled and verbally abused by the General Manager C. Dibella left the keys and walked out. I still have not received my money. I called GM headquarter and spoke to Francis there. She got Pine Belt on the phone and during a 3-way conversation, they said it is their policy to return the deposits and will do so immediately. As soon as we got off the phone, I get a call from Pine Belt from the same person saying the GM chewed him out and they will not be giving me anything!

I call GM headquarters again and they tell me that now day 3 that the car has been keyed from headlight to taillight! That when they assess the damage they’ll send me a bill.
