12/05 I went into Go Wireless (authorized dealer for Verizon only) to add a cell phone to my existing family plan. I have had my phone for four years added my mom two years ago, and was adding my boyfriend. At that time I was speaking to the rep and saying I wanted to add this # 3 phone only and not change the plan. That in January phone #2 was up for renewal and that I was NOT going to renew that contract. I signed the contract for phone #3. The rep then resigned all phones for a 2 year contract. And I was stuck with all lines. 2/06 I went to the local Verizon customer service office and spoke with someone letting them know what was going on, she told me that they have had a lot of problems with GO Wireless providing false information, and because people are signing the contract that the consumer was stuck in having to pay. For the last 8 months I would call and ask if there was any way that I could lower the cost of my bill, "no I am sorry that is the lowest plan available". They did however inform me that if I could find someone to take over the plan for a 1 year contract then I would be free, no one wants verizon here.
