I don't want my email visible My son purchased a Dell XP gaming computer for $2800.00 inside of 2 years ago. In the short time he has owned it, he has had to replace his hard drive twice, and now his power adapter has gone bad. He called Dell, they shipped him another power adapter that does not fully charge his battery like it should, so he now has a high end laptop that always has to be plugged in. He called Dell again after he received the new adapter, and told them that it was not the delivering the proper voltage that his computer required, and was told that they didn't make the adapter his computer needed anymore. So, too bad for him, evidently? I think that Dell should be losing massive market shares if this is the way they treat customers! My son had worked very hard, saved his money, and had been looking forward to this computer, and paid cash for it. Dell ought to be ashamed of themselves and take care of this! I'll almost guarantee you that our next computer purchase WON'T be a Dell, given this kind of performance history!
