CMP (Calgary Motor Products) Automotive Dealer in Calgary

After working with the rental department for two weeks they finally contacted us and refused to rent. They stated we had 2 collections in the past and this was reason enough to decline service. We have been in operation for over 9 years. We were aware of one collect, which had occurred over 2 years ago and we provided the collection agency proof payment had been made to the company. We received an apology from the collection agency and the company. We are unaware of the second collection she would not clarify. CMP chose not to rent us a 15 passenger van to be used to transport children to and from a school readiness preschool program. By doing this they disabled up to 30 children from participating in the program. This program is directed to low income Aboriginal Children. Children who are already at a disadvantage and by CMP’s choice, children will not be able to participate in their school ready program until we are able to find an intelligent and compassionate supporter who will be willing to work with us on renting a van while we pursue the purchase of new transportation for the children. As for this (2006-2007) school year several children will not be able to attend until the transportation issue is resolved. We wish to thank CMP for reminding us of their business practices and we wish to share it with you as they seem to be very proud of it I am sure they don’t mind us letting everyone know.

we own a montana minivan ,we have had great service from our saturn dealer (now closed)brought it to cmpauto ,replaced front spindle 6 months ago ,different dealership ,didnt have original invoice ,they would not accept a fax from other dealership ,they then cook up a list of problems that includes new brakes (just had them checked 6 months ago ),anyway the total comes to approx 3600.00 ,to add insult we get a call from one of the lowlife employees offering us 600.00 for our van AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP
