Capital One Credit Card Services Capital One Credit Card Services We recently received a message on our home answering service which was mostly unintelligible. After repeated listens, I realized it was Capital One's Fraud Dept. Because we had used the credit card for a large online purchase the night before after months of no activity, I actually appreciated the alertness for possible fraudulent activity. After listening another 6 times to the message to try and get the number, I finally called the number on the back of our card. Getting a live person was challenging, but finally did. I took care of the fraud alert first and then asked to speak to a supervisor. I was simply trying to let the company know that too many messages like the one we received would ultimately affect their company's success in verifying fraudulent activity...the supervisor hung up on me! I now know exactly what they think of their customers. Just another reason to be credit card debt free! What's in my wallet? Dissatisfaction over customer service at Capital One!
