Atlas Editions - Kings & Queens cards
|
Atlas Editions - Kings & Queens cards Atlas Editions seem to be based in Swindon via a PO Box. Earlier this year I got an invitation from them to order a pack of Kings & Queens cards for 99p, so I sent it back agreeing. I was then offered free gifts and more cards if I subscribed. The cards were quite good and I wanted something to keep them in, so I did, and received the first pack with the free gifts and a second pack, was charged for them as billed and everything seemed fine.
However, in August I noticed I had been charged for a third pack, which I knew I hadn't received yet. I called them and they said it must have got lost in the post and they would get another one sent out to me. Nothing arrived. I have now found that this week they have taken payment for ANOTHER pack that I have not received. One item lost in the post is possible, two from the same company is getting beyond coincidence. They have not replied to my emails, even to acknowledge them, and when I try to call now I get a message saying there is a technical fault. Probably all the people calling to complain! All I have been able to do is threaten them that if I can't contact them and they don't contact me I will be blocking card payments via my bank. Looking at the complaints on this site, I wish I had looked here before I signed up with them, I am starting to think they are either very badly organised or a downright scam and I am increasingly concerned that I will be unable to cancel my subscription and if I block card payments they will just start demanding them...for items I am not receiving.
