I made one of the biggest mistakes ever by accepting a call from Distinct Advantage. My problem started when I answered a phone call from Distinct Advantage on my cell phone somewhere around the 18th of August. I received nothing from Distinct Advantage; however, on September 5th $149 and on September 12th $59.95 was taken from my checking account. My first called my bank because I did not know what it was for. The bank gave me a phone number. I dialed the number and indicated that I didn't remember the phone call. Distinct Advantage or so they called themselves let me listen to the recording--I then remembered the call. My question is two-fold and this is first, how can you cancel something you've never received and second, why do I have to write a letter to cancel and receive my money back?


As of today's date, I have not received my refund from the 5th. In which they're telling me they haven't received my letter. As of today's date, I again have to write another letter which I'm sure they'll never receive. However, I will send this one along with the last one certified.


In closing, I would advise everyone to take heed in dealing with such an unreputable company. Something needs to be done now about this instead of later.
