Cingular Wireless

Cingular Wireless Cingular Wireless LIED TO ME and will not admit it. They announced they would be charging extra fees for TDMA service so we decided we finally had to get digital phones, but Cingular's plans were more expensive than other companies and the quality of our service had been declining anyway. So we switched to T-Mobile. I called Cingular on August 9, 4 days after the transfer, to confirm they recorded the cancellation when the numbers transferred. The representative confirmed back to my question that we would only be billed for the days of the month we had service. I just received a bill for the entire month of August. The representative I talked to tonight confirms there is record of every portion of that August 9 conversation EXCEPT the part when the representative confirmed the final bill would be prorated. The representative tonight refused to honor the prior representations made to me. That's just bad business practice. The customer is always right. Especially when the company LIES TO THEM.
