Slaughterhouse Haunted Attraction in Nashville, TN
Following is the letter to the company that I emailed to them on Friday (Oct.27), of which I have heard no response from them.
Dear Sir or Mam;
Last night some friends along with my husband and I attended your attraction at around 9:00pm. After finally getting to go in (after reading ALL rule postings on the buildings and anywhere else noted), we proceeded along. Well, after the "doctor/butcher" in the first room grabbed my friend, who was petrified, (**Please do not touch our actors, they will not touch you**), we still kept going. Because my husband is a nice guy he went along with my friend and he held her hands the whole time which would make him not be able to open doors with his hands thus having to open the doors with his feet (not hard, just enough to get them open). Well, upon entering the room with a seven foot Jason who got close enough to touch two of our party (Again, **Our actors will not touch you**), at this time my husband told him to "Get the f--- off!" Well, at this time, a security guard approaches my husband very aggresively and proceeds to get in his face and points his finger at him (in my opinion, eggin him on to do something stupid). He then escorts my husband out of the building because he said that my husband was kicking open doors and using the f word. Well, when I was reading the rules I didn't see one that said no profanity was allowed. The only reason my husband said what he did is because the actors kept getting in my friend's face again and again and again. Enough is enough. My husband never once took his hands away from my friend's nor did he ever act like he was going to hurt anyone, but why did he get escorted out with NO REFUND. The whole situation was absurd and uncalled for. Not like I think anything will be done about this situation, but someone should know how your employees respond to situations that aren't even situations to begin with. You want to throw around policies, then maybe the employees should follow them also and try not to make them up as they go. Thank you for your time.
