MBD Attorneys - Woolworths Woolworths Cresta Centre Johannesburg
My account was handed over to MBD Attorneys on the 21 of July 2004. We, me and my husband closed the account in December 2003 by paying the full outstanding amount by Standard bank cheque. After I received phone calls from Mbd attorneys about the new balance outstanding on the account I phoned woolworths head office in Cape Town asking them to forward any proof of purchase made on my account. It seems like someone issued a card on my name and bought on it. How they manage I really don't know. I am definitely not paying anything until I receive that proof of purchase with my signature on it.
>From that day forward I was continiously phoned and receiving sms messages from MBD attorneys about this account. I was treated rudely, shouted at over the phone, told that Woolworths doesn't want peple like me in their store. I've been buying at woolworths on my Investec credit card for the past four years.
I keep phoning mbd attorneys asking to speak to managers, supervisors that make empty promises that they will follow it up with their clients. Nothing had been done. Yesterday i received another sms and I decided to do something about it phoning them again. Again I was shouted at. I don't understand how things like this can happen. This attorneys firm are harrassing people, phoning me at any time of day. I am a teacher. When they phone me in the morning, i am busy in class and not able to speak to them, which usually ends up in them shouting at me because I don't want to speak to them.
I am truly tired of this issue and my husband - also an attorney - are now thinking of making a case of fraud against woolworths! From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Tuesday, 31-Oct-06 00:59:47 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
