I ordered a Halloween costume for my son on October 2, 2006. I immediately received an email confirmation for the order. The following day, October 3, 2006, I received an email from Storybooklane stating that the costume was no longer available in that size. I received my credit card statement on October 19, 2006 and I had been charged $44.90 for the costume. I have tried to contact the company via phone and email and they WILL NOT return any messages.
I contacted my credit card company, and I have filed a dispute. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau for Kennewick, Washington.
This company is bad news, and I advise people to beware!! I am so grateful to this website for posting complaints. I found someone else who has had a similar problem with the company.
